I am passionate about encouraging women to become the best version of themselves. I understand how difficult it can be at times, to find the time and motivation, to focus on achieving your fitness or personal goals. As a full time, working, single mother, I have struggled with these issues also. Sometimes, all we need is some encouragement and reassurance, in order to remind ourselves that we are capable of achieving the results we desire. As a Cognitive behavioural Psychotherapist psychology graduate, qualified Mental Health Nurse and level 3 Personal Trainer, I have both the knowledge and experience required, both personally and professionally, to help facilitate these changes. I have training in counselling skills, low intensity CBT, solution focused (brief) therapy, family behavioural therapy, as well as yoga. By combining my wealth of knowledge, I am certain that I can help you, to look and feel your absolute best!
'When mommy's feeling sad...' was written as a way of introducing the issue of depression to a younger audience, with the hope of initiating a discussion around the subject, and highlighting the importance of talking about, and sharing our feelings. The stigma surrounding mental health is still very real and the best way to eradicate this, is to educate our children with openness and honesty.
